MAGNOLIA fans better hold your horses.
Arvin Tolentino is bound to honor his remaining contract with the Seoul SK Knights and will continue to play for the Korean Basketball League in the coming season 2026-27.
“Yes, stay pa ako. Two years pa ako dito,” said the 30-year-old Tolentino in a short communique with the veteran forward from Korea.
Tolentino's rights was recently acquired by Magnolia along with a Season 51 second round draft pick following a trade with Titan Ultra for the rights on William Navarro and a second round pick for Season 52.

The big man from Ateneo and Far Eastern University said he’s aware of the trade that will have him returning to the San Miguel Corporation group after previously playing for Barangay Ginebra in his first three seasons in the PBA.
“Nasabihan din naman nila ako tungkol diyan (trade),” he said.
Tolentino went home recently for a vacation following the recent KBL season, and even watched Game 2 of the Commissioner’s Cup finals between Ginebra and TNT together with wife Brandy Kramer Tolentino.
But he's bent on completing unfinished business in the KBL after the Knights were swept in the quarterfinals by Kevin Quiambao and the Goyang Sono Skygunners.
Tolentino, who won Best Player of the Conference in the Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup with Northport before departing for the KBL, averaged 11.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in his first season with the Knights.
Actually, the third and final year of Tolentino’s contract has a player’s option where Tolentino can decide whether to continue playing for the Knights or become a free agent.
The season-ending Governors’ Cup kicks off on July 10 and unless a major development comes along the way, Tolentino is certain of still playing in the KBL.
