PBA movements in Season 50 are not only limited to players and coaches alone.
Team officials, too.
Former Northport team governor Eric Arejola is now with Magnolia, University of Santo Tomas team manager Waiyip Chong is taking his act to Terrafirma, which also has to announce its new team governor after Bobby Rosales stepped down from his post.

Arejola will be the Hotshots' new alternate governor under Jason Webb, while Chong - formerly with the Batang Pier - assumes the post as the Dyip's team manager after Ronald Tubid was appointed head coach.
That explains why Arejola, who was tapped by SMC management to help supervise the rehabilitation of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport following his long stint with AirAsia, already joined Magnolia during Sunday's annual draft.

With Batang Pier coach Bonnie Tan set to stay with Pureblends once the sale of the franchise before official, sources said Pido Jarencio, the former NorthPort team manager, is also bound for the Terrafirma front office in a still unknown position.
Chong already joined Tubid in the Terrafirma table as the Dyip selected big man Geo Chiu as the draft's No. 1 overall pick. The team already had former NorthPort coaches Jeff Napa and Jared Jarencio, whose dad is set to follow suit.

With Arejola going to Magnolia, Northport was also without a governor during the draft where the team got Chris Koon at No. 4 overall. However, sources said a representative from Pureblends joined the group in the table as 'observer.'
Asked who's the incoming governor of the Batang Pier, Tan, who did the drafting for the franchise despite its impending sale to Pureblends Inc., would rather keep mum about it.
