HE may be a celebrity by trade, but make no mistake about it: Andre Paras can hang with the best of them.
And with the son of two-time PBA MVP Benjie Paras declaring for the upcoming PBA Rookie Draft, a former coach of his believes that he has what it takes to make it to the pro league.
AMA Online Education coach Mark Herrera is confident on what Paras could bring to the table for any team who takes a chance on the second-generation baller.
"Ready na ready na si Andre para sa PBA," the mentor said.

Herrera should know.
After Paras' brief stints for University of the Philippines and San Beda, it was with AMA where the 6-foot-4 center had a chance to continue playing basketball while focusing on his acting career.
Since 2017, he was a regular for the Titans' squads in the PBA D-League and even teamed up with the likes of Kib Montalbo, who is now with TNT, and Aaron Black, who is with Meralco.

And it isn't just because of his star power, Herrera argued, but the grit Paras showed every game he played in.
"Napakasipag ni Andre sa AMA. Almost all-around ang nilalaro niya para sa amin," he said.
And Herrera expects nothing less from his former star if he gets picked in the PBA, saying, "Solid na player si Andre at maswerte ang makakakuha sa kanya."
