ANDRE Paras, looking to follow in the footsteps of his legendary father Benjie, submitted his application for the upcoming PBA Rookie Draft on Monday.
The 25-year-old banger personally came to the PBA Office in Libis as one of the first to officially declare for the annual rookie proceedings.
Paras, who stands 6-4, played for La Salle Greenhills in high school and moved to University of the Philippines for college where he spent a season.

The older brother of Gilas Pilipinas and UP Maroons star Kobe Paras also had a short stay at San Beda and was briefly named as a reserve in the Gilas PIlipinas pool.
Paras played his best basketball in the PBA D-League as a member of AMA Online Education, where he regularly put up double-doubles back in 2017 and 2018.
Paras, though, has of late been more busy with his acting career and is currently signed with the GMA Artists Center, making his PBA draft application a surprise.
Despite years of inactivity, the bruiser is still expected to attract interest in the January draft, especially if he can recapture the form he shown in the D-League years ago.
