ANDRE Caracut allayed fears of him missing Game 2 of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals between Rain or Shine and TNT after hurting his wrist the last time.
The 29-year-old guard said he can play through the pain despite some soreness on his left hand after getting accidentally whacked by Kelly Williams in the Elasto Painters’ 98-91 loss to TNT in the series opener last Wednesday.
Caracut’s wrist was heavily bandaged as he left the Mall of Asia Arena after the game.

He was also assured that there was no fracture.
“May maga (siya) pero kaya naman kapag may tape,” he said. “Nailaro ko naman (nung Game 1), Medyo nakakailang, pero kaya naman.”
Scottie Thompson likewise said he’ll suit up for Barangay Ginebra in its own semifinals series against San Miguel despite hurting his elbow and suffering cramps late in the Kings’ 73-71 come-from-behind win also in Game 1.
“Cramps lang naman,” said the Ginebra star, managing to give a thumb-up sign despite pain written all over his face.
The former MVP was a perfect 3-of-3 from three-point range for 16 points and eight rebounds despite hurting his elbow, getting hit in the head, before cramping on his right leg late in the game in which the Kings battled their way back from 18 points down.
Caracut also had 16 points – spiked by three triples – including 10 in the final quarter to lead all Rain or Shine scorers, though not enough to salvage a win for the seventh-seeded team.

He also got hit by the 6-foot-7 Williams in his left hand while going for a basket.
“Natamaan ni Kelly. Medyo hindi ko magalaw. Pero kaya naman,” said Caracut.
Game 2 of the semis doubleheader is set at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
