THE Light team banked on a hot start to coast to a 43-35 victory over the Dark team on Sunday in the women’s 5-on-5 all-star game in the PBA All-Star weekend.
Analyn Almazan of NLEX and Alaska’s Ewon Arayi led the winners, who led by eight points in the first half, a lead they maintained after the break.
Almazan registered 14 points and seven boards, while Arayi took care of the playmaking duties to finish with 13 points, seven boards, and three assists.
Maceli Abaca of Rain or Shine led the Dark side with 10 points, all in the second half, that went for naught.
