NORTHPORT gave its blessing to Allyn Bulanadi to take his act briefly to the MPBL Season 7 via the Pangasinan Heatwaves.
In a Facebook post by his representative Danny Espiritu, the former Gilas Pilipinas PBA draftee showed the contract he signed with the Heatwaves along with coach Jerson Cabiltes, team manager FJ Dylim, and assistant Paolo Gonzales.

Espiritu confirmed that Bulanadi’s contract extension with the Batang Pier expired at the end of PBA’s Season 49.
But sources told SPIN.ph the former San Sebastian gunner is only on loan to the Heatwaves and is bound to return to the Batang Pier once the MPBL season is over.
“Sinigurado muna ng team (NorthPort) na 'yung PBA rights niya (Allyn) nasa kanila pa rin,” said a person privy to the arrangement.
“Maiksi na lang naman yung (MPBL) season,” added the source, noting the regional league is scheduled to finish its current season by December.
The PBA meanwhile, will begin its golden season in October.

“So aayusin muna yung contract niya (Bulanadi) bago siya maglaro ulit (sa NorthPort),” said the same source.
At Pangasinan, Bulanadi will get to play alongside former PBA players like Vic Manuel, Mike DiGregorio, Bong Galanza, Lervin Flores, and Hesed Gabo.
The Heatwaves currently stand at seventh place in the North Division with a 12-7 (win-loss record) and on track for either an outright berth in the playoffs or in a play-in tournament should they fall outside the Top 6 by the end of the eliminations.
