GILAS special draftee Allyn Bulanadi are among the former Alaska players to be met by Converge management for a possible contract proposal.
Along with Bulanadi, also to be met are Kevin Racal, Robbie Herndon, Alec Stockton, Jaycee Marcelino, Rey Publico, and veteran Bryan Faundo.
Converge management under billionaire owner Dennis Anthony Uy already met with the entire Alaska team last week after it formally acquired the fabled franchise from Wilfred Uytengsu.
The team decided to retain the services of former Alaska coach Jeff Cariaso.
Converge ICT Solutions officially launched its team Tuesday at the EDSA Shangrila Hotel with team owner Dennis Uy and former PBA commissioner and team governor Chito Salud in attendance.
Kevin Racal is among former Aces bing considered by the Fiber Xers.
Cariaso was also in attendance along with some of his former coaching staff at Alaska, including Franco Atienza and Raymond Gavieres. Likewise with them were strength and conditioning coach Gus Vargas, Dickie Bachmann, who serves as assistant team manager, and CK Kanapi Daniolco.
Among the players around include Jeron Teng, Ben Adamos, Marcelino, Publico, and Faundo.
Cariaso though, said it's not yet 100 percent if those around would be part of the Converge team in the coming 47th season of the league.
Adamos and Teng, though, still have live contracts from their previous team Alaska.
"These are the players who are here that's available. At this time, it's hard not to take a break. So majority of the players are in a break. So we'll see how the final lineup is composed," said Cariaso.
