ALLEIN Maliksi came clean on social media on Thursday, admitting that his 'cooking' gesture late in Star's loss to Barangay Ginebra in Game Four was exactly what fans thought it to be - an attack on officiating.

Maliksi made the admission in a stunning series of posts on Twitter, shortly after a meeting with PBA commissioner Chito Narvasa who he said is bound to fine him for the controversial action.

A day earlier, Maliksi told mediamen that the 'cooking' gesture, which he made after being called for a contentious foul on Ginebra's Sol Mercado, was meant for his teammates and not the referees.

But on Thursday, Maliksi bared on Twitter that the act was exactly what fans interpreted it to be, adding he only made the denial to mediamen so the issue won't be blown out of proportion.

He tweeted on his official @alleinmaliksi account: "And alam nyo din naman po ibig ko sabihiun sa gesture na ginawa ko. Hindi ko na lang inamin sa media para di lumaki. Kaya wag po tayong tanga."

The former University of Santo Tomas standout actually started his posts on an apologetic note, saying he was sorry for his actions which he said were made in the heat of the moment.

"It's hard to control your emotions and actions during the game but i realize that my reaction and the gesture i did was wrong," said the Star forward.

However, his tone turned acerbic when he trained his guns at bashers on social media.

He lashed out at fans who obviously were comparing him to former Star franchise player James Yap and challenged another basher to dare see him in practice at Ronac Gym.
