BARANGAY Ginebra team governor Alfrancis Chua told Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao to stop comparing people to make others look bad, after the Elasto Painters mentor's latest remarks about him on Sunday night.
The war of words between the two hardly cooled down after Ginebra beat Rain or Shine, 118-107, to wrap up their Commissioner's Cup semifinals in six games as Guiao asked the PBA why Chua isn't governed by the league's rules on bench decorum.

On Monday, Chua said he also can’t help but compare Guiao to Ginebra coach Tim Cone, who he said is a total opposite of the Rain or Shine coach in terms of manners.
“Bakit compare ng compare? Siya hindi nate-technical, ako hindi. Eh compare ko kaya siya kay Tim Cone? Kaya hindi ko na kinompare kasi no comparison,” said Chua to SPIN.ph before the PBA finals press conference on Monday.
“Kino-compare niya ako kay Mert [ROS team governor Atty Mert Mondragon], ganito, ako ganito. Eh compare ko kaya siya kay Tim? Ang layo nila pareho ng ugali,” said Chua.
On Sunday, Guiao urged the PBA to follow the league’s guidelines particularly on handing out technical fouls to persons on the bench, which he claimed hasn’t been applied to Chua. Guiao previously accused Chua of intimidating the referees since the start of the semifinals.
Chua said it is no longer his problem if he is not being given a technical foul.
“Manager ako ng team tsaka team governor. I’m acting as a manager. Bakit yung mga maraming nagrereklamong manager, sa Meralco, sa Phoenix, bakit hindi ako technical? Hindi niya problema yun at hindi ko na problema yun,” said Chua.
Chua also took exception to Guiao’s opinions on league matters.
“Mali patakbo ng PBA. Mali patakbo ng commissioner. Mali patakbo ng governors. Kailangan ang governors, ganito. Mag-double job sila. Basta, nakakatawa lang yung compare compare,” said Chua.
“Gusto niya kung paano sila, ganun kami. Governor nila ganun, kailangan ganun din ako? Puro comparison," he added. “Kesyo pinabili lang ng suka, sila maliit lang ang budget, kami malaki. Hindi namin kasalanan yun eh.
"Hindi niya kailangan iparinig sa tao. Pag ganun, natatawa na lang ako,” added Chua.
