ALDIN Ayo is humbled to be in the hunt for a coaching spot in the PBA All-Star in Passi, Iloilo next month in just his second conference in the pro league.

Ayo has more votes than grand slam coach Norman Black of Meralco, who totaled 11,605.
Ayo said it came as a surprise that he is in the hunt for the coaching spot in the All-Star, and will gladly accept any role if offered.
“Hindi ako aware pero thank you for the fans who voted. Really appreciate it,” said Ayo.
“I love to do it for the fans and for the PBA also."
Following a successful collegiate career, Ayo took over Converge before the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup and immediately made an impact, leading the FiberXers to a semifinal appearance in his first outing as head coach.
Currently, the FiberXers are on top of the team standings with a 4-0 win-loss record under Ayo’s watch.
Ayo, however, said there is still a lot of work to do as far as being at par with the best coaches in the PBA is concerned.
“Marami pang magagaling diyan. Of course, coach Tim, coach Chito, coach Yeng, marami pa. I’m humbled and honored na pangatlo sa second conference pa lang,” said Ayo.
