ALASKA import Henry Walker hit out at what he claims were "dirty plays" dished out by Rain or Shine players in Game Two on Sunday, saying he was at the receiving end of a punch for the second straight game in the PBA Governors Cup semifinal series.
“That’s just blatant dirty plays, but then I do something and I’m gonna get a tech (technical foul) or something, I mean, that’s the second game in a row I get punched,” a dejected Walker said after emerging from the Alaska dugout inside the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
However, the former New York Knick said prior to his outburst, Belga and Jireh Ibanes tried to hurt him with "dirty tactics."
“The whole game that Ibanes or something, he’s twisting my arm up. And then Belga tried to twist my arm, then hip-tossed me and hits me in my mouth,” said Walker. “I say something to the refs, he just rolls his eyes.”
The Alaska import left the court with his right elbow iced, saying it felt numb after all the banging.
“Today, I don’t know but my arm and right hand felt numb, so I’ll just go for treatment today and tomorrow so I get ready to play (in Game Three),” said Walker, who was fined P20,000 for a fight with Meralco's Danny Ildefonso in a preseason game.
