ALASKA is the latest team to change reinforcements for the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The Aces have signed up Nino Johnson for their Saturday game against Phoenix, and has let go of veteran slotman Chris Daniels.
Head coach Alex Compton bared the news to Spin.ph on Friday.
Johnson, 26, is a 6-foot-9 slotman from Southeast Missouri State who has spent the past three years in Europe, playing in Finland, Poland, and Iceland.
Johnson suited up for two games with the Memphis Hustle in the NBA G-League last season, averaging 7.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks in 19.4 minutes of action.
Daniels averaged 20.2 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.0 blocks in his six games with the team, helping the Aces win three straight games for a 4-2 record.
