PHOENIX Pulse coach Louie Alas blasted the referee’s decision to call a technical foul on the team’s governor Raymond Zorilla in Monday’s Game Two loss to San Miguel in the PBA Philippine Cup.
Alas took to Twitter to criticize officials after Zorilla was T'd up for complaining to the referees.
It was one of the very rare times that a PBA team governor was called for a technical foul in a game.
“Maraming mas grabe mag-reklamo compared kay Atty. RTZ (Zorilla) pero hindi nate-technical. Try to observe the other governor,” said Alas on his Twitter without elaborating.

Zorilla was slapped with a technical foul with 4:46 left in the third quarter after he confronted a referee following a series of offensive rebounds and putbacks missed by the Fuel Masters.
Game Two was an emotional match that saw Christian Standhardinger getting ejected from the game for kicking Calvin Abueva in the groin area during a battle for positioning.
Standhardinger denied intentionally hitting Abueva as he was trying to stand up to get back on defense, daying the kicking motion was purely accidental.
