AKIL Mitchell returns for Meralco while Allein Maliksi is in line to make his conference debut when the Bolts make their Christmas Day debut against Converge in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Mitchell has been reinstated to the Bolts roster after missing two games due to a fractured nose during their match against Rain or Shine last December 1.
EASL: Meralco blows 'won game' vs Busan KCC
DJ Kennedy took over for Mitchell’s spot on a temporary basis but missed Meralco’s previous outing against Blackwater last December 12 due to an injury.
Mitchell had 27 points and 13 rebounds in his first game with the Bolts against Phoenix last November 29, but played for only 11 seconds in their next match-up when he broke his nose against Rain or Shine.

Prior to being activated, Mitchell already saw action for Meralco in the EASL and wound up with 17 points and 18 rebounds in their sorry loss to Busan KCC Egis last Wednesday.
Meralco has also activated Maliksi, who has only played one game so far in the league's 49th season due to injuries.
