CALVIN Abueva and Joshua Munzon showed how effective a duo they are for Titan Ultra.
The two are among the three highest scoring players at the end of the PBA Philippine Cup eliminations despite the Giant Risers falling short of the quarterfinals.
Abueva emerged as the leading scorer of the conference with a 23.6-point average, while Munzon was not far behind at No. 3 with an average of 21.6.

Sandwiched between them at No. 2 was Blackwater guard RK Ilagan, who averaged 22.0 points in the two games he played before going down with a hamstring injury.
Titan Ultra was in the running for a quarterfinals berth until the final week of the eliminations when Barangay Ginebra dashed its playoff hopes with a close 102-100 win over Rain or Shine in Bahrain.
Nonetheless, the Giant Risers tried to exit with a bang by giving the Kings a big scare before dropping a 108-105 game during the final day of the eliminations for a 4-7 record in their first conference in the league.

Abueva, who scored a career-high 41 points to give the franchise its first ever win, 100-96, over Meralco, also ranked No. 3 in rebounding with 11.9 per game, but leads the league in turnovers with a 3.9 average.
June Mar Fajardo, Robert Bolick, and Zavier Lucero are the other statistical leaders by the end of the eliminations as released by the league shortly before the quarterfinals.
The 6-foot-10 Fajardo remains the top rebounder in the all-Filipino Cup with 14.6, followed by the Converge Twin Towers of Justine Baltazar at No. 2 (13.8) and Justin Arana at No. 4 (10.1).
Bolick on the other hand, is the top assist man with 8.5 per game, while Converge rookie Juan Gomez De Liano followed with 7.6.
The NLEX guard is likewise, No. 1 in free throw shooting, making 95 percent of his attempts from the foul line.
The 6-foot-7 Lucero leads the league in block shots and most minutes played with 2.1 and 36.5 minutes per outing.
Ilagan meanwhile, was the leader in steals with 2.5 per outing, while also the most efficient from the four-point line with a high 75 percent shooting.
Meralco’s Jansen Rios was the surprise No. 1 in three-point shooting with 85.7 percent.
