GINEBRA’S Dylan Ababou will be out for six months after tearing his ACL in his right knee during the Kings’ loss to San Mig Coffee on Sunday night.
Ababou confirmed the injury through his Twitter account @dylanababou.
“Thanks so much sa prayers & concern nyo guys. Na- Acl ako,ill be out for 6mos.Pls continue to support our Never Say Die Bgy. Ginebra, Tnx,” wrote Ababou.
The former UST Tiger got injured while trying to fake off Mixer James Yap in the first quarter of the game.
Ababou was coming off a hamstring injury and only played his first game of the season last week.
He is expected to undergo surgery on Wednesday, according to a tweet by San Miguel director for sports Noli Eala.
