    A league of double standard?

    Jan 30, 2014
Ginebra star Mark Caguioa got away with a P5,000 fine for his second flagrant foul in less than a week on Alaska's controversial forward Calvin Abueva. He also got a P5,000 fine for the first one.

WAS that an official statement coming from the PBA regarding the second flagrant foul committed by Mark Caguioa on Calvin Abueva in a span of less than a week?

Is the PBA really a league of double standard?

The league may be sending the wrong message to everyone who plays the game when it said you can hurt the same player twice in such a short span and still get away with a slap on the wrist.

Or could it be that the PBA Commissioner's Office hates Abueva's guts so much that they couldn't care less?

What if it was the other way around? Would Abueva be given a mere slap on the wrist?
