THE Pasig Grindhouse Kings and 1Bataan Risers, who split the first four titles, are the top two seeds for the final leg of the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President's Cup on March 31 at SM Fairview Events Center.
The two squads accumulated the most points through the first four legs, booking tickets to the quarterfinals of the final event.
Pasig collected 360 points after making it to the championship game in all four legs, winning the second and fourth tours.
Bataan had 325 points thanks to triumphs in the first and third legs despite missing the semifinals in the fourth leg.
The champion of the final leg will earn a ticket to the Doha leg of the 2019 Fiba 3x3 World Tour in April.
The finalists of the final event will also automatically qualify for the Chooks-to-Go Fiba 3x3 Asia-Pacific Super Quest on April 6 at SM Megamall Events Center.
Joining Pasig and Bataan as early quarterfinalists are third seed Pasay Voyagers, which had 260 points, and No. 4 San Juan Knights-Go for Gold, which got 235 points.
The remaining eight teams will face off in a wildcard round, with the winners facing the top four-seeds in the quarterfinals.
Pasig will meet the winner of the game between No. 8 Bulacan Kuyas and No. 9 Zamboanga Valientes, while San Juan faces the victor of the match between No. 5 Carga Valenzuela Classic and No. 12 Marikina Shoemasters.
Bataan faces the survivor of the match between No. 7 Cebu Max-4 Birada and No. 10 Zarks Jawbreakers-QC, as Pasay takes on the winner of the clash between No. 6 Vigan Baluarte Wolves and No. 11 Bacoor Strikers.
The champion will take home P1 million.
