MANILA Challenger squads Equalivet Pasig and Wilkins Balanga return for the third leg of the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 Magiting Cup on Tuesday at SM BF Paranaque.
Sitting out the second leg, the top Filipino ballclubs are at it again as they aim to reaffirm their positions in the tourney.
Equalivet Pasig, fresh from its quarterfinal finish in the Manila Challenger, will field Joshua Munzon, Dylan Ababou, Leo de Vera and Travis Thompson in Pool A against Zamboanga Valientes MLV and Uling Roaster - Gulf Supreme Boosters Bulacan.
Wilkins Balanga, meanwhile, has Alvin Pasaol, Karl Dehesa, Santi Santillan and Chris de Chavez as it plays in Pool C with Wilkins Muntinlupa and Partas Narvacan.
Troy Rike and Franky Johnson return for Basilan Phenom CTC Construction as they look to bounce back from the second leg's shock semis exit starting in Pool B against Mindoro Tamaraws 7A and Vigan HUP.
Leg two champions Fyr Fyter Bacolod have also brought in Ford Ruaya in lieu of Mark Yee as they attempt to prove that their conquest is no fluke, beginning in Pool D against Crossovr Magma-Bicol and Thunder Gold's Gym Taguig.
Up for grabs is the P100,000 cash prize for ruling the leg, but everyone's eyes is on the points race, where Balanga leads with 160 points.
Bacolod is not far behind at 150 points, but a triple-tie between Pasig, Basilan, and Mindoro prove that it's still too early to predict who will reign supreme.
