AFTER putting a period on his stint with Japan B.League club Osaka Evessa, Ray Parks Jr. isn’t exactly rushing towards his next destination.

But one thing’s clear: the former TNT star sounds very open to the idea of coming home.

Ray Parks

Speaking during Thursday’s B.League event at SM Megamall, Parks admitted the possibility of a PBA return is very much alive — even if overseas opportunities are still on the table.

“The PBA is doing what they’re doing and for me, I’m hoping for growth. I’m never closing the door on anybody naman. The Philippines will always be my home," he told the media.

"Right now, focus lang ako sa offseason and whatever the next chapter is, I’ll be ready.”

As the 32-year-old guard believes there’s still another gear left in him, he’s still weighing options.

“I felt like it was my time na rin to depart from Osaka. We achieved what we achieved and I feel like I just want to compete more. I felt like there’s so much more that I can still do,” he said.

And yes, offers are already here, there, and everywhere.

“May offers tayo internationally and locally,” he confirmed.

That means the PBA may have a shot, but it’s definitely not alone in this bidding war.

Father time for Ray

For now, though, Parks is more focused on finally getting a real offseason and turning his attention to daddy duties.

“Di ko pa nararamdaman yung offseason. Asikasuhin ko muna ‘yung mga bata ngayon and mawawala ako siguro mga one month. Honeymoon at pahinga lang and then tackle it from there,” he said.

Parks’ family is widely followed, as he nurtures a home with wife vlogger Zeinab Harake and their children, who now bear his last name.
