THE Paranaque Patriots have found a partner in F2 Logistics for its campaign in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Datu Cup.
The Patriots and F2 Logistics made the partnership official last June 11, a day before season opened. The deal was formally signed by F2 Logistics president Efren Uy and Paranaque City councilor Joan Villafuerte.
Incidentally, F2 Logistics is making its first foray into basketball, although it has established its presence in volleyball with a team that has won a number of championships in the Philippine Super Liga.
F2's offices is located in Paranaque City.
"Paranaque Patriots in the MPBL is a representation of pride and solidarity for our city. We are happy that our team is being supported by F2 Logistics which is a company based in Paranaque," said Villafuerte.
"This is a strong show of unity amongst Paranquenos who are one in cheering for the Patriots. Kaya nga ang ating team sa ating koponan, 'Atin 'to, Paranaque," she added.
The team said it will also conduct basketball activities and CSR activities in Paranaque as well as nationwide.
Harold Arboleda and Francis Sanz are the ex-pros of the Patriots, while Ryusei Koga will be joined by Howard Flor, Jemal Vizcarra, Mark Montilla, and George Allen.
