ROBIN Roño showed his clutch genes as Parañaque protected home court with a thrilling 94-87 win over Caloocan in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball league on Wednesday at the Olivarez College Gym.

Roño was untouchable in the extension as he drained all three of his attempts from beyond the arc - much to the delight of the jampacked crowd in the venue.

With the Supremos getting the first basket of the extension, Roño suddenly came alive - nailing three consecutive three pointers as Paranaque took control of the game for good.

Before the Supremos knew what hit them, the Patriots were already ahead, 90-83, with two minutes and 10 seconds left in the game.

The former National University guard finished with a game-high 23 points to lead the way for the Patriots.

John Ambuludto added 20 points while Harold Arboleda filled the statsheet anew with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists as they improved to 4-2.
