BRENT Paraiso vowed to bounce back for University of Sto. Tomas after ending up scoreless in the game against former team La Salle in the 2019 Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup Sunday.
The 20-year-old swingman said it also felt weird being on the other side as the Growling Tigers transferee faced the Green
Paraiso was scoreless in 21 minutes of action as UST was routed by La Salle, 72-49.
"Sobrang weird kasi it was like facing your brothers," he said.
Paraiso missed all of his seven shots, registering only three rebounds and an assist.
"It didn't go as planned," he lamented. "We wanted to win, but it is what it is."
Paraiso, though, knows that its a process and he is fixated on the bigger goal which is the UAAP season.
"We are getting better, kaso lang yung today was like us falling down," he said.
"We have to get back up. We have to work as a team muna to get better."
