Jiovani Jalalon and Reyniel Viloria had 14 points each as Arellano beat JRU-B, 81-75, to also improve its mark to 2-1 in Group B.
In juniors play, John Lagumen had 12 markers as San Beda beat Hope Christian High School, 81-72.
It was the Red Cubs’ first game after competing in the Palarong Pambansa in Legaspi where they won the secondary boys title for Calabarzon region.
