PAMPANGA Foton and Manila National University-MFT beat separate rivals on Saturday to remain on top of the standings in the Filsports Basketball Association Second Conference at the Marikina Sports Center.
Pampanga downed Malolos Mighty Bulsu, 80-70, while Manila NU won over Quezon City-University of the Philippines, 61-42, to improve their win-loss records to 7-2.
Jawhar Purdy scored 32 points as Pateros Austen Morris Associates beat Marikina Wangs, 83-74, to to close in on the semifinals.
Pateros moved to solo third with a 4-5 win-loss slate, one win away from a semifinal berth.
FBA games, shown on Aksyon TV, Aksyon International, and FOX Sports, are now also aired over Net 25 and its affiliate international channels.
