PAMPANGA and Dasmariñas bagged the titles in the inaugural season of the National Basketball League (NBL) Youth over the weekend at the Hagonoy Sports Complex in Taguig City.
Jeffrey Sy tallied 12 points and seven rebounds while Carlo Ferreras also had 12 points as the Pampanga Junior Delta beat the Dasmariñas Monarchs, 75-64, to capture the 17-under title.
Jake Blancaflor scored 11 points while Kyle Brazil had eight points and five rebounds as the Monarchs won over the Junior Delta, 64-57, in the 12-under division final.
Ferreras and Ralph Monilla of Dasmariñas were named MVP in the 17-under and 12-under division respectively.
Ferreras, Ronnel Guerrero of Taguig, Raphael Cordova of Los Banos, Genesis Aviles of Dasmariñas, and Jacob Calinawan of Parañaque were named to the Mythical Five in the 17-under, while Monilla, C-Jay Morales of Pampanga, Jerfel Salde of Taguig, and King James Fontanillas of Laguna compose the Mythical Five in the 12-under.
