THE Delaware Blue Coats overpowered G League Ignite, 120-92, on Monday at AdventHealth Arena in Orlando (Tuesday, Manila time).
Rayjon Tucker anchored the Blue Coats in snapping their four-game losing run with 21 points and seven rebounds as six others scored in double figures.
Michael Frazier II had 20 points and four rebounds, while Braxton Key had 19 points and five boards to help Delaware move up to fourth place at 8-4.
It was a struggle of a game for the select team, with only Congolese guard Jonathan Kuminga the only young gun to score in double figures with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists.
Jalen Green, who is of Filipino descent, missed all of his seven shots from threes and wound up with a season-low eight points, together with five assists, two boards, and two steals.
Ignite fell behind early as Delaware unleashed a killer 18-0 run, erecting a 22-8 lead at the 3:31 mark of the first frame to set the tone for the game.
The Blue Coats showed no mercy from there, shooting 18-of-37 from threes, a blistering 49-percent clip, to bloom the lead to its highest at 34, 103-69, in the third quarter.
Brandon Ashley and Cody Demps scored 14 points each for Ignite, which fell to 7-5 in what has been a roller coaster ride in their last six games.
Ignite will take a day off before continuing their playoff push against the skidding Agua Caliente Clippers on Wednesday.
