NU Lady Bulldogs wind up fifth in Taipei tournament with win over Humber Hawks

NATIONAL University claimed fifth place in the 2019 Buddha's Light International Association Cup with an 85-69 trumping of Humber College of Canada on Saturday in Kaohsiung.

The Pat Aquino-coached Lady Bulldogs started off the game with a 25-7 first quarter and cruised to victory to cap off their Taiwan trip.

Congolese center Lamama Kapinga continued her stellar showing with 18 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, as senior Jack Animam had 17 points, 12 boards, two assists and two steals.

Rhena Itesi added nine points and seven rebounds, while Kaye Pingol was once again all over the court, coming up with nine points, nine boards, four dimes and two steals.
