NATIONAL University beat University of the Visayas, 87-83, on Thursday to take third place in the 6th Philippine Secondary Schools Basketball Championship Dickies Underwear Cup at the SGS Stadium.
Terrence Fortea had 18 points, scoring five straight as the Bullpups took control, 81-76, in the fourth period.
Miguel Oczon added 14 points, while Cyril Gonzales finished with 12 points for NU.
Joshua Yerro contributed 21 points and 14 rebounds as the Baby Lancers wound up fourth in their tournament debut.
