THE National University Team A juniors team beat the NU Team B seniors team, 82-79, in the Milcu Sports Basketball Got Skills Premier League 25-under division at the Lyceum gym.
Miguel Oczon tallied 32 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the win by Bullpups, who are using the tournament as a build-up for the UAAP Season 80 juniors tournament.
Shaun Ildefonso had 21 points for the Bulldogs, who led 56-44 entering the fourth period but could ot hold on.
The Bullpups Team A also beat Far Eastern University, 71-64, with Gerry Austin Abadiano scoring 18.
In other games, Bright Akhuetie had 14 points and eight rebounds as University of the Philippines beat La Salle, 55-36.
Dharell Caranguian had 14 points as De Ocampo Memorial College beat Technological Institute of the Philippines, 64-56.
Renato Ular had 11 points and eight rebounds as Letran beat La Salle, 69-42.
