NATIONAL University and Ateneo clash for the Milcu Elite Showcase Under-25 title after beating separate opponents recently at the Enderun Colleges Gym in Taguig City.
African reinforcement Issa Gaye collected 18 points and 18 rebounds as the NU Bulldogs beat Enderun Colleges, 65-57, in their semifinals.
Not to be outdone, CJ Perez had 30 points and 10 rebounds as the Ateneo Blue Eagles downed Adamson, 88-78, to also make it to the finals.
The championship game between NU and Ateneo is set at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday at the Enderun Colleges Gym.
In the Under-16 tournament, Chiang Kai Shek College and University of the East face off for the title at 9 a.m.
Robert Minerva scored 19 points as the Blue Dragons defeated NU, 60-46, while the Junior Warriors won by walkover against AMA University in the tournament is sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and supported by Milcu, Slam Philippines, Gatorade, LGR x Titan Sports Wear, Coach Athletic Trainer’s Tape, Secret Fresh, and Enderun Colleges.
