"It’s official! Excited to play for the Iloilo United Royals in the upcoming MPBL season.
Another chapter unlocked! To God be the Glory," said Nonoy.

Roughly two weeks since Iloilo signed Cansino, his former Season 82 co-finalist with UST to Season 86 title rival in University of the Philippines, Nonoy followed suit after maxing out his UAAP eligibility.
Nonoy was an integral piece to La Salle's championship conquest in Season 86, averaging 8.8 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.
His hot hands from range proved vital in the home stretch of the Green Archers' golden run as he had the third-highest three-point shooting percentage in the league (39.34%) and made the eighth-most treys last season (24-of-61 3PM; 1.85 avg).
Nonoy and Cansino's rekindled partnership will boost an Iloilo team coming off an eighth-place finish in its 2023 MPBL campaign prior to an early playoff exit in Round 1 against silver medalists Bacoor City Strikers.
