Xavier squads dominate opposition in Milcu Got Skills Summer Showcase

JOAQUIN Manuel scored 23 points as Xavier beat La Salle Greenhills-A, 55-49, recently in the 15-and-under division of the Milcu Got Skills Summer Showcase at the AMA Gym in Quezon City.

Xavier scored its second win of the competition even as the school’s squads in other age-groups also came out winners in matches over the weekend.

Edrick Lim had 15 points for Xavier in a 53-48 win over LSGH PSBL-A in the 14-and-under division, while John Durante scored 12 points in Xavier’s 48-46 win against Marist in the 12-and-under class.

Xavier also defeated De La Salle-Zobel, 54-35, in the 13-and-under of the tournament.

In the 12-and-under, Kyle Andrei Rivera had 14 points and 12 rebounds as RP Youth Elite-AMA won over LSGH-B, 61-14. Jacob Militar scored 18 points as Marist beat Skyhawk South Ballers, 57-17.

Jac Inigo Macasaet scored 24 as De La Salle Zobel beat LSGH PSBL-B, 52-43, in the 14-and-under, while Skyhawk South Ballers bounced back with a 43-35 win over Hoopin Team.

In the 15-and-under, San Sebastian College-Recoletos downed University of Santo Tomas, 64-62, with Francis Pagdanganan scoring 18 points. UST recovered with a 56-31 win over Skyhawk South Ballers, with Rean Relucio scoring 13 points.

Miko Johann Wong Lim tallied 19 points, seven rebounds, and two steals as Team J beat SJCS, 50-33, in the 13-and-under. Alec Audric Makasakit had 13 points as De La Salle Zobel downed Team J, 44-28, in the tournament presented by Got Skills and supported by LGR Sports Wear, Magic 89.9, Gatorade, Blackwater and Kawasaki.
