TEY Teodoro scored 20 points as Jose Rizal University beat College of Saint Benilde, 72-66, on Monday for its second straight win in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup at the San Juan Arena.

It was an impressive win for the Heavy Bombers, who were playing their third game in three days starting with the Filoil tournament opener against Far Eastern University on Saturday and a Fr. Martin Cup match on Sunday.

"If he wants to play, magaling 'tong batang 'to," said JRU coach Vergel Meneses, referring to Teodoro

"Meron siyang shooting. Konting effort pa sa defense. Pero he is a very talented guy."

The game was still close after three quarters, 52-53, but the Heavy Bombers played fine defense to create some gap in the fourth and deny the Blazers a winning start in the tournament.

"The effort was there. Last five minutes, doon kami nakakuha ng stop," Meneses said.
