Ray Parks shows way as Alab Pilipinas asserts supremacy over Kaohsiung Truth

RAY Parks showed the way, while new import Sampson Carter made an immediate impact as Alab Pilipinas scored an 86-77 victory over the Kaohsiung Truth on Sunday in the Asean Basketball League in Taipei.

Parks and Co. took control early, building a 22-17 first-quarter lead and padding it to 43-29 by halftime.

Fil-Am guard Parks came up with 28 points, hauled down eight rebounds and made six assists.

Carter scored 23 points, pulled down six rebounds and issued six assists as Alab notched its  third win in five games.

All three wins by the Philippine-based club were scored at the expense of Kaohsiung.

The Taipei-based club absorbed its fifth loss in six games.
