Sagesse keeps Mighty Sports winless after another heartbreaker in Dubai cage meet
Beau Belga missed a potenital game-tying three-pointer at the buzzer of Mighty Sports' 95-92 loss to Sagesse in the Dubai International Basketball Tournament, Jaime Campos

MIGHTY Sports suffered another heartbreaker in the end game, falling victim to Lebanese side Sagesse, 95-92, to drop its third straight game in the Dubai International Basketball Tournament Sunday evening (Monday PH time) in Dubai.

For the second straight game, Mighty had a chance to salvage the game at the buzzer, but Beau Belga's three pointer came just a tad short much to the delight of the rowdy Lebanese crowd inside the venue.

American Terrell Stoglin starred for Sagesse as he led the Lebanese fight back from seven points down early in the fourth.

The shifty guard scored 16 points in the final period to negate yet another huge effort from Justin Brownlee and Kiefer Ravena.

Mighty Sports appeared to have the momentum when Chris Tiu's three-pointer gave the Filipinos their biggest lead in the game, 78-71 with roughly eight minutes to spare.

Then Stoglin combined with fellow imports Todd O'Brien and Michael Efevberha, and began to take charge, attacking with every chance they get as they went to the line almost at will.

The calls didn’t go Mighty Sports’ way as Sagesse was awarded 16 free throws in the payoff period, including 10 in the final three minutes.

Following the loss, Mighty now faces a virtual must-win situation with three games to spare.

The Philippine side takes e a break on Monday (Tuesday PH time) before it battles another Lebanese team in Homenetmen the next day.
