STA. ROSA - Ranidel de Ocampo's best game yet in a Meralco uniform came at the most opportune time for the Bolts.

Traded to Meralco late in the conference, De Ocampo made three triples on his way to 18 points that came with three rebounds and the same number of assists as the Bolts blasted Star, 98-74 in Game Two of the PBA Governors' Cup semifinals in Tuesday.

De Ocampo finally finding his touch was good news for the Bolts, who moved a win away from returning to the finals of the season-ending conference.

"Ito palang yung magandang nilaro ko," he said.

The former Gilas hero is hoping to replicate the same performance come Game Three on Thursday, when the Bolts will look to finish off the Hotshots to grab the first seat in the finals.

"Sana maulit next game para matulungan ko mga teammates ko. Binibigay ko credit sa kanila lalo kay AD (Allen Durham)," he said.

But De Ocampo knows closing out the best-of-five series remains the hardest part, even though the Hotshots lost Paul Lee to a knee injury.

"Di ko rin masabi. Sa tingin ko bilog pa rin ang bola e. Kailangan pa rin naming pagtrabahuhan yung Game Three," he said.
