THE semifinals of the National Collegiate Championship (NCC) on Wednesday have been postponed by organizers due to typhoon Nona.

The league said the games between San Beda and Letran set at 2 p.m., and University of San Carlos and Far Eastern University at 4 p.m. the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan will be played on Thursday instead after heavy rains brought about by Nona hammered Metro Manila on Wednesday.

The Red Lions take on the Knights in a rematch of the NCAA Season 91 finals, while the Warriors are out to make it to the NCC finals at the expense of the UAAP champion Tamaraws in the semifinals of the tournament also known as the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL).

Game One of the PCBL Founders Cup best-of-three finals between Jumbo Plastic and Caida Tiles scheduled on Wednesday at the Malolos City Sports and Convention Center has also been reset to Friday at the JCSGO Gym in Quezon City, organizers said.

Meanwhile, the NCAA games in all sports scheduled on Wednesday have also been called off.
