NU, Diliman Preparatory School face off for 16-under crown of Milcu Got Skills meet
NU and Diliman Preparatory School will clash for the 16-under crown of the Milcu Got Skills Summer Showcase.

NATIONAL University and Diliman Preparatory School collide for the 16-under title, one of five championship games to be played on Saturday in the Milcu Got Skills Summer Showcase at the Enderun Colleges Gym.

NU collides with DPS at 12:30 p.m. for all the marbles after winning their semifinal matches in Week Seven of the competition sponsored by Milcu and sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

Terrence Fortea finished with 16 points as the Bullpups downed Adamson, 59-35, in the semifinals. Patrick Bianan poured 17 points in DPS’s 58-56 win over San Beda College Rizal in the other pairing.

The NU-DPS match is just one of the five title matches scheduled as the Summer Showcase conference draws to a close.

Chiang Kai Shek College won over Pinoy Youth Dreamers, 63-59, while La Salle Greenhills downed Ateneo Eaglets, 76-69, in the 14-under semifinals to arrange a title game set at 9:30 a.m.

CKSC also made it to the championship game in the 13-under division and will go up against La Salle-Zobel at 11 a.m.

The CKSC Blue Dragons beat the Eaglets, 52-48, while the DLSZ Junior Archers defeated Pinoy Youth Dreamers, 80-67, in the semifinals of the 13-under category.

La Salle Greenhills and St. Jude Catholic School go for the 12-under title at 2 p.m.

The 25-under finals will be played at 8 a.m. in the tournament also backed by Basketball TV, Gerry’s Grill, Gatorade, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, Kawasaki, LGR, SLAM, Rain or Shine, Honda, Coach Athletic Trainers Tape, Secret Fresh, Mighty Sports, and Nousha Kebabs and Barbeque.
