Mighty Sports makes it three wins in a row in PCBL as Akhuetie, Ravena, Banal take charge

NEWCOMER Mighty Sports continued its impressive run in the PCBL Chairman’s Cup, beating Euro-Med 81-63 for its third straight win and the solo lead in the fast-growing league.

Collegiate standouts Bright Akhuetie of University of Perpetual Help System, former Ateneo de Manila King Eagle and two-time UAAP MVP Kiefer Ravena, and former Mapua Cardinals star Gab Banal led the way for Mighty Sports last Sunday at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Bulacan.

Akhuetie posted his third double-double in as many games with 22 points and 19 rebounds while Banal fired six triples to finish with 18 points. Ravena had 17 points, five rebounds and three assists.

The three got ample support from the rest of the team led by Angelo Wongchuking who added six points.
