NO. 8 Creighton got an easy win in a virtual workout match, ripping Division II Truman State Bulldogs, 101-69, on Saturday in Omaha, Nebraska (Sunday, Manila time).

Marcus Foster led all scorers with 21 points on 9 of 11 shooting.

Justin Patton came up with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Cole Huff chipped in with 10 points.

All 13 players Creighton fielded were able to make the scoresheet, with Kobe Paras of the Philippines delivering five points on 2 of 7 shooting, including 1 of 3 from the 3-point area. He also had three rebounds in 11 minutes of action.

The Bluejays improved their overall record to 17 wins against one loss, although result of the mandated game would not reflect on its rating percentage index. It was required by Big East that all teams had less than a 48-hour turnaround before Monday's Big East Marathon for Martin Luther King Day.

The same was the case for Big East team Georgetown, which beat the Connecticut Huskies in a non-conference game, 72-69, while eight other Big East teams were playing conference matches.

Connor Erickson scored 10 points on 4 of 8 shooting in the game that is logged as an exhibition for Truman State.

Creighton next takes on No. 15 Xavier.
