KHADEEN Carrington showed the way as Seton Hall overcame Creighton, 87-81, to get back on track on Wednesday in New Jersey (Thursday, Manial time).

Carrington went 10 for 15 and finished with a career-high 41 points as the Pirates bounced back from a loss to St. John’s red Storm.

Desi Rodriguez scored 18 and Angel Delgado added 17 as Seton Hall notched its 16th win in 25 games overall.

The Pirates are now 6-7 in the Big East.

No. 20 Creighton could not get a win run going after routing DePaul, absorbing their fifth loss in 26 games.

The Bluejays, who got 23 points from Marcus Foster, are now 8-5 in the Big East.

Justin Patton had 15 points, while Cole Huff and Khyri Thomas had 13 points apiece for Creighton.

Kobe Paras of the Philippines did not see action.
