KENJI Duremdes scored 23 points as National University beat La Salle Antipolo, 78-68, in the quarterfinals of the Metro Manila Basketball League Division 4 on Saturday at the San Beda gym.

The son of former PBA MVP Kenneth Duremdes had seven points in the fourth quarter as NU held off a stiff challenge by La Salle Antipolo.

Xavier School beat Sto. Nino De Novaliches, 109-63, in another 16-under Division 4 quarterfinal match.

In the Division 1 quarterfinals, Clint Escamis had 18 points as Mapua beat La Salle Greenhills, 89-55, in a rematch of the NCAA Season 93 finals.

Prince Etrata had 27 points as San Beda outplayed Letran, 109-63.
