BAGUIO CITY — Kenji Duremdes finished with 16 points as La Salle Greenhills cruised to a 55-44 win over Ateneo de Iloilo in the finals of the Small Basketeers Philippines division of the 2015 BEST SBP-Passerelle Twin Tournament.

The 12-year-old Duremdes, son of PBA legend Kenneth Duremdes, joined forces with Mark Torrijos in a big first half that saw the Greenies build a 36-13 halftime lead on Sunday at the Easter College Gym.

Torrijos finished with 14 points for La Salle Greenhills, which went unbeaten in its four games in the tournament.

La Salle Greenhills won by only nine points in its elimination-round match against Ateneo de Iloilo, but it was a different story in the final as Torrijos scored 12 to help the Greenies erect an early 16-6 spread.

Duremdes took over from there, looking like a man among boys when La Salle turned the game into a rout.

Ian Espinosa had 15 points for Ateneo de Iloilo.
