Gilbert Arenas to visit Manila and play in Allen Iverson-led charity basketball event
Gilbert Arenas is lined up to play alongside former NBA player Eddie Curry and several top local players.

THREE-time NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas will join the cast led by 11-time NBA All-Star Allen Iverson seeing action in a charity event in Manila for the second time in November.

“All In”, a basketball fundraiser for the benefit of Gawad Kalinga, is set November 5 at the MOA Arena.

“Agent Zero” Arenas will be teaming up with former NBA player Eddie Curry several top players from the NCAA, UAAP, and the PBA, against the Ball Up Streetball All-Stars to be coached by Iverson.

“I’m excited to come back and see everyone in the Philippines,” Arenas, who starred for the Washington Wizards in 2003-10, said in a text message to his local agent, Sheryl Reyes.

“It’s been six years, but I can still remember the warmth and love I received from my Filipino fans. I’m so honored and blessed to be a part of this event and help build homes for the poor.”
