Gian Mamuyac leads Ateneo over Earist in Milcu Got Skills Elite caging

GIAN Mamuyac had 13 points and four rebounds to carry Ateneo to a 68-58 win over Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Technology (Earist) in Week Seven of the Milcu Got Skills Elite Showcase 25-under division at the Lyceum gym.

Mamuyac, who recently made headlines after blocking Steph Curry in an event in Taiwan, helped propel the Blue Eagles to fourth place with a 3-3 win-loss slate in Group A of the competition.

In other matches, CJ Perez had 15 points and seven rebounds as Lyceum-A stayed on top of Group A with a 77-51 win over College of Saint Benilde. The Pirates improved to 6-1.

The Chiang Kai Shek College high school team defeated San Sebastian, 61-33, to take second place in Group A with a 5-1 win-loss slate of the tournament sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP).

The Adamson juniors squad leads Group B of the 25-under division after wins over Lyceum-Alabang, 89-45, and La Salle-Antipolo, 79-35.
