Ex-Baby Tamaraw Jabel makes solid debut in Mapua rout of CKSC in PCABL opener

ERIC Jabel posted a respectable showing in his first game since transferring to Mapua as the Red Robins defeated Chiang Kai Shek College, 88-57, on Tuesday in the opening day of the 10th PCABL Freego Cup at the Philippine Buddhacare Academy gym.

Jabel had 11 points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals as the former Far Eastern University cager played his first game as a Red Robin.

The incoming Grade 12 cager, a member of the championship team of the Baby Tamaraws last season, transferred to the Red Robins after having exhausted his playing years in the UAAP.

Brian Lacap had 17 points, while Will Gozum finished with 14 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks for the Red Robins, who outscored the Blue Dragons, 28-8, in the second period.

John Galinato had 18 points for the Blue Dragons.
