FEU Baby Tamaraws off to strong start in NBTC with rout of Camp David New Zealand

FAR Eastern University-Diliman defeated Camp David New Zealand, 81-53, on Monday to kick off the UAAP champions’ campaign in the SM NBTC National High School Championship at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Eric Jabel had 15 points, making 3-of-4 shots from the 3-point line, while JJ Sapinit had an all-around game with 14 points, four assists, and five steals for the Baby Tamaraws.

Edward Maagdenberg had 10 points and six rebounds for New Zealand.

Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu also beat an international Fil-foreign team in AusPinoy One Solutions, 79-49.

Vincent Velasco finished with 21 points and five rebounds, while Eroll Pastor contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Magis Eagles in their first outing in the tournament presented by Freego .

Jasper Rentoy added 13 points, while James Cabban posted 13 points and 11 rebounds for AusPinoy One Solutions.
