Zotico Tan, Terry Que show way as FCVBA completes sweep of Asean Veterans 65-above division

ZOTICO Tan and Terry Que led the Filipino-Chinese Veterans Basketball Association (FCVBA) past KLVBC-Malaysia, 72-55, for a sweep of the 65-above division of the 25th Asean Veteran Basketball Tournament on Friday at the Chiang Kai Shek College Gym.

Tan, the oldest member of the team at 70, finished wiht 17 points and four assists, while Terry Que, co-team owner of PBA team Rain or Shine, tallied 11 points, three assists, and three steals at the end of the tournament sponsored by Freego Jeans, Philippine Airlines, Rain or Shine, and Ironcon Builders.

Antonio Go added 10 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks, while Lee Ching Ka also scored 10 points in the finals of the tournament organized by Headstart Sports Academy under the leadership of Edster Sy.

The FCVBA 65-above squad, which also included Ironcon Builders owner Jimi Lim,  completed a two-game sweep of the elimination round before moving on to the championship game.
